A Message from Terry Erickson...

As I begin my 6th year as the MVC Commissioner, I am determined to improve the overall quality of the conference for all the student-athletes.  I am especially proud of the 3rd Annual Sportsmanship workshop, which involved over 100 students, coaches, and administration from all schools.  We are currently planning for the 4th Annual Conference tentatively scheduled for November.

My goals are to continue to promote the Mississippi Valley Conference and build on the strengths that are already in place.  The quality of officiating has been excellent, and we will continue to insist on this approach to integrity and professionalism.  The student-athletes deserve individuals that strive for an absolute commitment to excellence in the officiating field.

The MVC has provided extremely competitive interscholastic athletic programs for its members and features schools of various sizes and limited athletic budgets.  Many former MVC athletes have distinguished themselves in collegiate competition which is a tribute to the quality of our MVC programs.  Each member emphasizes educational, unifying and entertainment values of sports and points with pride to the many advantages to be gained by attending and competing at their particular school.
